Chandel: Assam Rifles organised a series of educational promotion activities at Government Aided Primary School, Joupi, Chandel District. The programme brought together 56 students, 5 teachers and personnel of Assam Rifles, creating a vibrant platform to highlight the importance of literacy, education and holistic development.
The day witnessed enthusiastic participation from the children in debate, painting and essay writing competitions, which encouraged them to showcase their creativity, sharpen communication skills and develops a deeper interest in learning. The lively engagement reflected the students’ eagerness to embrace education as a means of empowerment and growth.
An interactive session was also held, where students learnt about the role of Assam Rifles and the Armed Forces in maintaining peace and stability in the region. The discussion underscored the values of security, harmony, responsible citizenship and collective participation in building a progressive society.
