Kakching: Deputy Commissioner Kakching, Angeline Renita R (IAS), today chaired a review meeting of the MY Bharat District Advisory Committee at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office Complex, Kakching. The meeting was organised by MY Bharat Kakching under the supervision of the District Administration Kakching.
During the meeting, Vishal Dhakad, District Youth Officer (Kakching), delivered a PowerPoint presentation on MY Bharat, highlighting the features and benefits of the My Bharat portal, including its focus on experiential learning, and the registration process.
He also demonstrated the registration process through instructional videos to help participants understand how to enroll on the portal. Also, provided an overview of the Viksit Vibrant Village Programme and the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026.
The meeting was attended by Ph. Bhavananda Sharma, ADC/ADM Kakching, Zonal Education Officer, Chief Medical Officer, District Social Welfare Officer, and principals and teachers from various schools and colleges in Kakching district, among others.
MY Bharat (Mera Yuva Bharat) is a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, launched in October 2023 to place young people at the centre of nation-building.
The digital platform connects the government, educational institutions, industry and voluntary organisations to provide opportunities for volunteering, experiential learning, skill development, leadership and civic participation, with the objective of empowering youth to contribute towards the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.
