Tengnoupal: Tengnoupal District administration today organised ‘Jan Kalyan Shivir’ Public Welfare Camp, campaign, at Khangshim Community Hall, Khangshim, Tengnoupal.
In today’s camp, several department has set up stalls/enrollment counter to facilitate services to the public. District Handloom & Textiles has received a total of 15 applications disposed off all in the Shivir. Social Welfare department has received 14 applications of Manipur Old Age Pension scheme and 18 services were provided under the scheme while two applications were received for Widow pension and the number of services provided under the scheme was four.
Jan Kalyan Shivir is a public welfare camp facilitating fresh registrations under various beneficiary schemes, rectification of errors in existing records, and expeditious disposal of pending cases and grievances.
The camp is being organized across the country from 12th to 20th June with the primary objective of ensuring effective outreach and saturation of welfare and beneficiary-oriented schemes to every eligible citizen.
DLOs and officials of line department have attended the camp by performing their duties to the best of their ability for a grand success of the camp.
On the concluding day tomorrow similar camp will be held at SDO office, Moreh.
