Kakching: Ms. Angeline Renita R, IAS, took charge as the Deputy Commissioner of Kakching District today. She is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2022 batch, Manipur cadre.
In a function held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Angeline Renita R took the charge from the outgoing Deputy Commissioner Uppuluri Chaitanya, IAS.
Speaking to all the officers, the outgoing DC Uppuluri Chaitanya thanked the entire Government officials for supporting him during his tenure since January 12, 2026.
Appreciating all the officers for their cooperation in executing work for the benefit of the district, he urged to give the same cooperation to the new Deputy Commissioner.
Meanwhile, the new Deputy Commissioner Angeline Renita R (IAS) sought cooperation from the officers to work as a team for the overall development of the district. It may be mentioned that earlier, she was posted as the Joint Secretary (Home) & PD/MACS.
The function was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Phurailatpam Bhavananda Sharma (MCS), along with SDO, AC to DC, District Level Officers, staffs and officials of the Deputy Commissioner Office among others. (DIO)
