Pherzawl: Organised under the theme “Jan Bhagidaari Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle,” the District Administration of Pherzawl continued its intensive Information, Education and Communication (IEC) campaign, delivering essential government services directly to remote communities.

The latest outreach was conducted at Patpuihmun Village under Vangai Range. The initiative was led under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner Mannuamching, ADC Zosanglur Joute along with SDO Lalthanzam Fimate and other officials.

As part of the district-wide outreach effort, Jan Sunwai (public hearing) sessions were held across several villages under Tipaimukh, Vangai and Thanlon blocks, enabling residents to directly interact with officials and raise grievances.

Healthcare services formed a crucial component of the campaign, with medical teams conducting screenings and facilitating enrolment under flagship schemes like CMHT and PM-JAY. The programme also incorporated an environmental component through a tree plantation drive involving both officials and local residents.

So far, 12 camps have been organised, facilitating 234 Aadhaar services, 275 caste certificates and 205 domicile certificates, besides extending benefits under Mission Indradhanush and MGNREGA.

Transect walks were also undertaken to encourage greater community participation in local development initiatives.

The campaign will continue until May 25, reinforcing the administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and last-mile service delivery in Pherzawl district.
