Pherzawl: The District Administration of Pherzawl today continued its outreach programme under the Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan- Sapse Door, Sapse Pehle at Damdiei and Ankhasuo villages. Residents turned out in large numbers to take part in the various welfare and awareness activities brought to their doorsteps.
Residents from the two villages, including school children took active part in the activities organised by various departments.A tree plantation drive was also carried out during the event to promote environmental awareness and encourage community participation.
To help villagers access essential services more easily, an Aadhaar enrolment and updation drive was conducted during the programme. Facilitation counters were also set up to assist residents in availing important government documents, including caste certificates and other official records, sparing many from travelling long distances for basic services.
Health Department organised health screening camp for villagers, where residents received basic medical check-ups and health consultations. Enrolment drives for Chief Ministergi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT) and Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) health cards were also carried out to expand healthcare coverage among rural families.
