Senapati: Joining the nationwide initiative, the District Administration of Senapati programme launched the Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Campaign under the theme “Jan Bhagidaari- Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle” week under PM- JANMAN and DA- JGUA today at DRDA Conference Hall, Senapati.
The nationwide Campaign focuses on raising awareness about tribal welfare and conducting Beneficiary Saturation Camps for the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups- Maram tribe, across all the villages in Senapati district over the week.
Speaking at the event, PP Ronald, MCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner cum Projector Director, DRDA Senapati stated that the intensive week- long campaign will span in all the blocks and villages in the district under PM- JANMAN and DA- JGUA. He emphasized the critical need to disseminate information regarding Government schemes and entitlements to the tribal population while facilitating the seamless convergence of services across various departments. Highlighting the tentative roadmap for the week, he outlined the activities including, Saturation drives, plantation drives, Jan Sunwai, Village Immersion Drive- A and more in the district. He urged the SDOs/ BDOs and line department officials to execute their duties with active participation and proper coordination to ensure the campaign’s success in the district. He instructed BDOs to compiled and consolidated reports from respective department and submit ATRs accompanied by photographs, videos and other activities to submit on time.
The programme was attended by Adahrii Maheo, MCS, CEO/ ADC Senapati, James Panii, MCS, BDO Phaibung, Sheveine, MCS, BDO Paomata, S. Plim Reikhenamai, MCS, BDO Willong, P. Lophro, MCS, BDO Tadubi, Nehemiah Rong, Campaign Nodal Officer along with the District Level Officers and staffs of District Administration and BDOs.
