One-day awareness camps on CMHT and AB-PMJAY conducted

The  District Implementation Unit (DIU) took several proactive initiatives under AB-PMJAY  to ensure maximum coverage for eligible citizens, especially from marginalized and vulnerable groups. The awareness campaign will continue till April 7 at various sub-divisions of Churachandpur district.

Churachandpur: District Implementation Unit (DIU), Churachandpur, in collaboration with State Health Agency, Manipur, today organised a one-day awareness campaigns on Chief Minister’s Health Schemes-Chief Ministergi Hakselgi Tengbang(CMHT) and Ayushman  Bharat- Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY).

An outreach campaign was held at two remote locations, such as Mata IFCD Relief Centre and Lanva TD Block Relief Centre, in Churachandpur Sub-division, aiming to raise awareness about healthcare schemes for the benefit of the community.

During the  Awareness campaign, Jenny Paite, Auditor, (CMHT/AB-PMJAY), briefed the gathering about Dos and Donts of using of cards, update of cards, eligible criteria, enrollment procedures, required documents for receiving CMHT card and AB-PMJAY cards. She urged the attendees to bring necessary documents like IDP and Aadhaar cards to get new cards, also to get their cards prepared before hospital admission, ensuring smooth treatment. She added that they can avail benefits and healthcare more accessible, focusing on vulnerable populations, especially  internally displaced persons(IDPs).  She also addressing  on sensitizing about cashless coverage of Rs.5 lakhs per family per year through empanelled hospitals for eligible poor and vulnerable families. For issue, beneficiaries can call toll-free numbers 1800-103-2015(state) or 14555(national)or visit concerned district hospitals/healthcare centres.

The programme was attended by CMO/Member Secretary, Dr. Vanlalkungi(DIU); Jenny Paite, Auditor, (CMHT/AB-PMJAY), District coordinator, Thuamkhanlian Ngaihte (CMHT/AB-PMJAY), S. Thangmuanlal (PMAM) and inmates of the relief camps.
