Imphal: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has grown into the world’s largest political party not by chance or overnight success, but through the dedication, sacrifice and hard work of countless party leaders and workers, said Sekmai legislator Heikham Dingo Singh on Friday.
The MLA made the remarks while attending a meeting organised under the “Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Prashikshan Mahabhiyan, Mandal Level 2026” at Khurkhul Lamkhai Community Hall. The programme was attended by more than 200 party workers and leaders.
Addressing the gathering, Dingo Singh emphasised that BJP’s strength lies in its disciplined organisational structure and the commitment of its karyakartas. He stated that the party’s journey—from its formation to becoming the largest political organisation in the world—was made possible by leaders and workers who devoted their lives to upholding the party’s ideology and values.

He further noted that anyone aspiring to become a true karyakarta must first understand the party’s ideology and remain dedicated to its principles.
“There are many political parties across the world, but BJP becoming the largest among them did not happen overnight. It is the result of the sacrifices made by leaders and the relentless efforts of party workers who protected and promoted the party’s ideals,” he said.
Highlighting developments in his Sekmai Assembly Constituency, the MLA also recalled that during the previous Lok Sabha election, BJP secured the top position among political parties in the area. He attributed the achievement to the tireless efforts of party karyakartas and expressed his gratitude for their commitment.

Dingo Singh also assured that he would continue to work with full dedication to further strengthen the party in the coming years.
Several party leaders and resource persons attended the programme and delivered speeches, including L. Meenabanta Singh, Vice President of BJP Manipur Pradesh; Ng. Raghumani Singh, President of BJP SC Morcha; Ph. Phoni Meitei, President of BJP Imphal West District; and N. Naobi Singh, President of BJP Sekmai Mandal.
The meeting also highlighted the party’s organisational journey, its ideological foundation, and various development programmes and welfare schemes implemented by the BJP-led government across the country.
