Imphal: The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur has informed that as per the report submitted by the concerned Examination Officer-in-Charge (O.C.), Phungyar Higher Secondary School, Phungyar Examination Centre, a candidate bearing Roll No. 7870 of Arts stream, appearing from Phungyar Higher Secondary School Examination Centre, was caught red-handed with a smart phone during the Higher Secondary Examination, 2026 held on 28th February, 2026 (Saturday) in the subject Political Science.
In view of the above, the candidate has been expelled from the Higher Secondary Examination, 2026 and her candidature has been cancelled as per Clause 11 (k) of the Conduct Rules, 2026 of the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur.
Further, she has been debarred from appearing at the Higher Secondary Examination for 2 (two) consecutive years, i.e., 2027 and 2028.
