Manipur: 17 Agniveer aspirants mentored by Army succeed in recruitment

A total of 58 aspirants, including 37 who qualified earlier and 21 additional participants, underwent further training, which included pre-medical checks and physical tests.

Imphal: Seventeen Agniveer aspirants from Manipur, mentored by the Indian Army, have successfully passed the 2024 Agniveer Recruitment process. A felicitation ceremony was held on 05 October 2024 at the Red Shield Centre for Wellness & Excellence in Bishnupur to honor their achievement.

In response to requests from the ex-servicemen community and local residents, a comprehensive training course was organized for 101 aspirants, preparing them for the Agniveer Common Entrance Test (CET) from 18 February to 18 April 2024.

Of these, 38 candidates passed the CET and received an intensive nine-week training to help them prepare for the second phase of recruitment.

A total of 58 aspirants, including 37 who qualified earlier and 21 additional participants, underwent further training, which included pre-medical checks and physical tests.

Out of these, 35 successfully cleared the mandatory recruitment rally tests, with 17 making it to the final merit list. These 17 candidates are now set to join various regiments of the Indian Army as proud Agniveers.
