Bishnupur: The District Administration, Bishnupur on Wednesday organised a cleanliness drive as an observation of National Cleanliness Day, 2024 on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti in the campus of Mini Secretariat Complex, Bishnupur.
Officials and staff of the District Administration led by Deputy Commissioner Lourembam Bikram participated in the cleanliness drive.
The National cleanliness Day was also organized at Sub Division Offices and line departments of the districts.
Swachhta Hi Seva Campaign, 2024 under the theme ‘Swabhav Swachhata, Sanskaar Swachhata’ which started on 17 th September was also conducted in full swing in the district.
The campaign aims at uniting the nation in its commitment to cleanliness, public health, and environmental sustainability.
