Imphal: Indian Army conducted multiple cleanliness drives in Bishnupur and Leimakhong Military Station celebrating the Gandhi Jayanti and Swatchh Bharat Abhiyan on Wednesday.
Army organised cleanliness and awareness drives in collaboration with CAPF and local residents in Mannumjang, Kolbung, Nganukon and Hautak villages in Bishnupur district,
At the Leimakhong Military Station in Kangpokpi district, the soldiers and their families conducted cleanliness drive under the theme “Plastic Free Leimakhong”; ensuring cleaner surroundings and healthier environment in the state of Manipur.
