Imphal: Major General Ravroop Singh, IGAR (South), called on the Governor of Manipur, Lakshman Prasad Acharya at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday and discussed the prevailing security situation in the State.
He briefed the Governor that Assam Rifles is extending fullest assistance to the administration so that peace and tranquillity prevails in the State.
The Governor lauded their efforts and encouraged them to continue the same for the restoration of peace and normalcy in the State.
