Manipur CM flags off Har Ghar Tiranga campaign bike rally

The Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to all participants for joining the bike rally during these challenging times in the State

Imphal: Chief Minister N. Biren Singh flagged off the “Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign Bike Rally,” organized by the Government of Manipur, from Hapta Kangjeibung in Imphal East on Wednesday.

In his address, the Chief Minister expressed his gratitude to all participants for joining the bike rally during these challenging times in the State. He emphasized that the rally is part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, an initiative by Prime Minister Narendra Modi aimed at hoisting the National Tricolour at every home, symbolizing a united and strong Bharat.

The Chief Minister also urged the people of Manipur to contribute to building a strong and united Bharat and Manipur. He concluded his speech by wishing all the bikers a safe journey as they embarked on their route.

Director General of Police Rajiv Singh, who presided over the function, noted that the rally was organized under the Chief Minister’s direction. He explained that the rally would travel through various areas, including Imphal, Nambol, Bishnupur, and conclude at the Indian National Army complex in Moirang, where the riders would be felicitated. Singh also expressed his appreciation for the participants’ enthusiasm and spirit of nationalism.

The rally saw participation from 24 motorcycle riders’ organizations and clubs, with more than 2,000 riders, including members of the Manipur Police and the Youth Affairs and Sports Department.

The event was attended by IPR Minister Dr. Sapam Ranjan Singh, Special Chief Secretary M.H. Khan, senior civil and police officials, and other dignitaries.
