Imphal: A State-Level Children’s Painting Competition on the theme “Har Ghar Tiranga – A Homage to the Patriots/Martyrs” was conducted on Tuesday at the City Convention Centre, Imphal.
The event was organized by the Department of Art and Culture, Government of Manipur, in collaboration with the Arts Society Manipur.
The competition was divided into three categories: Category A for students in Classes 3 to 5, Category B for Classes 6 to 8, and Category C for Classes 9 to 12. Approximately 400 students participated in the competition, each receiving a certificate of participation. The winners of the competition will be honored at a separate event later on.
The program was attended by key figures, including the Commissioner of IPR & Art and Culture, M. Joy Singh; Director of Art and Culture, K. Dinamani; President of Arts Society Manipur, Th. Debendra; and Secretary of Arts Society Manipur, Ch. Lalit Singh.
