Imphal: DC Imphal East has appealed to CSOs, community and tribe organisations, church, religious groups base in Impahl East to come out and volunteer in implementing COVID Appropriate behavior, wearing of face mask, maintaining social distance, strict imposition of night curfew and regulations to contain the spread of the virus.
The appeal comes in the wake of increasing positive cases in the district despite the many steps taken up by the district administration.
In the last five days, Imphal East saw Covid-19 cases increase to 100. The DC further added in his appeal that the measures of the government cannot be fulfilled without the support of the public,
