Imphal: In a continuous effort to engage local youth and secure their future, the Indian Army organized a comprehensive guidance session and pre-medical drive for Agniveer aspirants in Bishnupur district, Manipur.
The event focused on the various aspects of medical and physical assessment tests, aimed at young boys who have cleared the Common Entrance Test (CET) for the Agniveer entry scheme.
A total of 43 aspirants, who had previously undergone training for the Entrance Test at the Red Shield Centre for Excellence and Wellness from February 5 to April 19, 2024, attended the session.
The Indian Army has committed to providing nine weeks of additional training to these aspirants, preparing them for the upcoming Recruitment Rallies scheduled for August and September 2024. The pre-medical tests conducted during the drive were designed to assess the participants’ medical conditions and guide them in maintaining their physical fitness.
