Kohima: The Indian Army has developed multiple infrastructure and healthcare projects at the Vibrant Village Tuting of Arunachal Pradesh, under Operation Sadbhavana; a flagship initiative of the Indian Army aimed at winning the hearts and minds of the people, with its ongoing commitment to fostering harmony and development in Upper Siang District.
The Spear Corps of the Indian Army in coordination with the civil administration dedicated multiple infrastructure and community projects for the people of Tuting and Bishing. While Tuting Sub Division is a remote location in Arunachal, Bishing is one of the ‘First Villages’ in Upper Siang District.
Projects undertaken at Tuting include a fully equipped Ambulance for sustained emergency medical services, upgradation of Anganwadi & Veterinary Hospital and a Children’s Park cum Open Gym for recreational activities. At Village Bishing, a community hall for social gathering has been constructed and upgradation of Primary School at Bishing was undertaken.
The villagers expressed their deepest respect & profound love for the efforts undertaken by the armed forces. A large number of locals attended the event which has strengthened the bonds of trust and fostered goodwill among the local populace.
