Imphal: Ex-Vice Chancellor, Rawatpura Sarkar University, Dr. Rajesh Pathak, along with 2 others called on the Governor of Manipur, Anusuiya Uikey at Raj Bhavan on Monday and expressed the importance of education for overall development in the society.
They also discussed the scope for introducing a private University in Manipur to enhance the skills of the students in various fields.
Principal, Dental College, JNIMS, Prof. Nidarsh D Hegde, also called on the Governor, Manipur, Anusuiya Uikey at Raj Bhavan.
Ramshwarup Singh, Civil Contractor, Khumukcham Rambo Meitei, Civil Contractor and Chabungbam Mangi Singh, Electrical Contractor called on the Governor and discussed proposals for the development of infrastructures in the Raj Bhavan campus.
Dr. Rangitabali Waikhom, Director, Education (U), Govt. of Manipur also called on the Governor at Raj Bhavan Monday evening.
