Kohima: Indian Army Tuesday launched a two-month long coaching and mentoring facility for recruitment in the Indian Armed Forces and other competitive examinations for the youth of Bishnupur district of Manipur.
During the period, instructors and mentors from diverse backgrounds will assist the youth, despite the ongoing challenges posed due to the security situation in the area, said a statement by Amit Shukla, PRO and Spokesperson, Ministry of Defence, Manipur, Nagaland and Southern Arunachal Pradesh.Â
The session started on 19 Feb 2024, with 96 aspirants including 09 girls.
The Indian Army remains steadfast in its commitment to support the youth of Manipur by offering quality education, mentorship and aims to equip them with the tools necessary to excel in their chosen endeavours, the statement added.
