In a heartening gesture, Assam Rifles extended warmth to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) at the Relief Camp, S Kwatlian village, Churachandpur District, given New Year 2024. The celebration, in collaboration with the locals, emphasized unity and solidarity, spreading joy among those who have faced hardships and displacement. Assam Rifles, known for its dedication to community welfare, distributed gifts and festive treats, exemplifying compassion and support during challenging times.
Furthermore, Assam Rifles showcased its humanitarian efforts by providing emergency medical assistance to the 81-year-old Village Chief of Moulhoih village, Churachandpur District diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease and facing bilateral kidney failure. Paukhosiem Gangte received immediate resuscitation and essential medical care from Assam Rifles’ medical staff. The individual was later referred to the District Hospital, Churachandpur, for detailed analysis and further management. The family expressed gratitude to Assam Rifles and the medical staff for their timely and life-saving assistance.
