Gaza: At least two Palestinians were killed, and 10 others injured as a result of an Israeli drone strike on the city of Jenin in the West Bank, Palestinian news agency WAFA reported on Thursday.
Among those killed was a minor, WAFA reported, adding that three people of those injured had suffered serious wounds.
Earlier in the day, The Times of Israel newspaper reported that the Israeli military was conducting a large-scale operation in the Jenin refugee camp, with Israeli forces scanning about 400 buildings, detaining hundreds of Palestinians, as well as seizing weapons and other equipment.
On October 7, Palestinian movement Hamas launched a large-scale rocket attack against Israel from the Gaza Strip and breached the border, killing over 1,200 people and abducting some 240 others.
Israel launched retaliatory strikes, ordered a complete blockade of Gaza and launched a ground incursion into the Palestinian enclave with the declared goal of eliminating Hamas fighters and rescuing the hostages.
Over 18,000 people have been killed so far in Gaza as a result of the conflict, according to local authorities.
