Jerusalem: Bolivia’s decision to sever diplomatic relations with Israel is a capitulation to terrorism and to Iran, the Israeli Foreign Ministry said.
On Tuesday, Bolivian Deputy Foreign Minister Freddy Mamani said that La Paz had decided to cut diplomatic ties with Israel amid the situation in the Gaza Strip.
“The government of Bolivia’s decision to cut diplomatic ties with Israel is a surrender to terrorism and to the Ayatollah’s regime in Iran.
By taking this step, the Bolivian government is aligning itself with the Hamas terrorist organization … Israel condemns Bolivia’s support of terrorism and its submission to the Iranian regime, which attest to the values the government of Bolivia represents,” the ministry said in a statement.
