Manipur: Relief materials for children worth Rs 1 cr donated by Patanjali flagged off

The relief materials will be distributed to the relief centers in Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal, Bishnupur, Kakching, Churachandpur, Kangpokpi and Tengnoupal districts respectively.

Imphal:Deputy Commissioner, Imphal West, Th. Kirankumar Singh flagged off relief products donated by Patanjali from the Imphal West DC complex on Tuesday. 

The relief materials will be distributed to the relief centers in Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal, Bishnupur, Kakching, Churachandpur, Kangpokpi and Tengnoupal districts respectively.

The donation was made by Patanjali, the National Resource Organisation of DAY-NRLM under the initiative of Manipur State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM). With a commitment to aid the most vulnerable section of society, Patanjali has donated goods worth Rs. 1 crore to support the children and infants residing at relief camps across the state. 

Recognising the urgent need for basic nutrition, the contribution of Patanjali aims to ensure that the young receive proper nourishment during their stay. Items donated include suji, atta, cornflakes, biscuits, oats, and sugar among others.

The flag-off function was attended by the State Mission Director, MSRLM, N. Bandana Devi, officials and staff of MSRLM.
