Imphal: The Manipur Gymnastic team ruled the floors with two gold medals and one silver medal at the Peddam Sports Complex in the 37th National Games at Goa on Friday.
Ariha Pangambam’s flawless and well-choreographed moves in the individual Aerobic Gymnastics sailed through the top, a well-deserved Gold Medal.
And close on the heels of the first Gold, the Trio Aerobic Gymnastic team comprising Ariha Pangambam, Anjori Pangambam and Leishilembi Chabungbam enthralled and won the next Gold Medal.
S Ruban Meitei in a well contested Floor Exercise won the Silver Medal.
“The performance of our boys and girls in gymnastics is very encouraging and we hope that the new competitive arenas of the discipline will have a fresh enthusiasm among the new generation,” Yanglem Bony the coach of the Gymnastics said.
