Kolasib: MLA, Serlui Assembly Constituency, Lalrinsanga Ralte visited the Covid-19 Screening Point at Vairengte and had a meeting with officials on duty and leaders of various NGOs of the area.
Reiterating the importance of the Covid-19 Screening point located near the inter-state borders, the MLA mentioned that Screening points are being set up at Phaisen and Saiphai areas as well. Lalrinsanga Ralte, while applauding the contribution of the NGOs in the fight against the pandemic also requested them to continue supporting the Government by every means possible so that the SOP could be most effectively implemented.
MLA Lalrinsanga Ralte, who is also the Vice-Chairman, Rubber & Allied Crops Development Board, donated Rs 10,000 to Vairengte Screening Point and another Rs10,000 to the Vairengte Joint VLTF.
