New Delhi/Hiroshima: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that he had a great discussion with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in Hiroshima, and that the US looks forward to hosting PM Narendra Modi in June on a State visit.

In a tweet, the US Secretary of State said PM Modi’s visit to Washington next month will celebrate the deep partnership between the US and India.

“I had a great discussion with Indian Minister of External Affairs @DrSJaishankar on the sidelines of the G7 in Hiroshima. We look forward to hosting Indian Prime Minister @NarendraModi in June, whose visit will celebrate the deep partnership between the United States and India.”

Blinken was in Hiroshima as part of the team of US President Joe Biden to attend the G7 Summit.
