Imphal: Power Minister Thongam Biswajit Singh Thursday chaired a review meeting of the Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) at the conference hall of his New Secretariat office.
During the meeting, officials highlighted the achievements and progress of ongoing projects in the State.
Biswajit asserted that the officials should ensure system strengthening to improve quality of power supply and eventually increase income. He further instructed all DGMs to verify if there are any left out villages so that electrification can be provided to left out areas at the earliest.
The Minister directed that all officials and staff should take up all necessary works and precautions before the arrival of monsoon to ensure an uninterrupted supply of power in the State. The review meeting was also attended by MD, MSPDCL Ng Subhachandra, and DGMs.
