Nagpur: An unidentified caller on Saturday threatened to blow up Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters in Nagpur city of Maharashtra, a senior police official said.
The official informed that a phone call was received at the control room here at around 1 pm, threatening to blow up the RSS headquarters in Mahal area with a bomb.
Following this security was beefed up at the RSS headquarters at Nagpur in Maharashtra, the official said.
A Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad and a Dog Squad were summoned and they launched a complete checking of the premises.
However, nothing suspicious was found there, he said.
Besides, patrolling has been intensified as a precautionary measure, the official further said. Police are tracking the number, they received call from, he added.
