Fifth District Hill Leaders’ and Meeyamgi Numit held at Keithelmanbi

Kengoo Zuringla, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Kangpokpi directed all the District Level Officers of the various departments to guide the public and dispose of their grievances at the earliest.

Keithelmanbi: The 5th District Hill Leaders’ Day and Meeyamgi Numit were held  on Thursday at the Keithelmanbi Community Hall, Champhai Sub-Division in Kangpokpi district, from 9 am onwards.

Kengoo Zuringla, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Kangpokpi directed all the District Level Officers of the various departments to guide the public and dispose of their grievances at the earliest. Further, she also interacted and heard the grievances of the general public.  

Meanwhile, Reikimdaar Khaling, SDO  of Champhai and T. Waichong along with the officials and staff, ensured the smooth conduct of the event and guided the general public with their queries.

During the day, various government departments distributed pension cards, widow cards, tribe/income/domicile/PRC certificates, and grievances/queries were also addressed by the One Stop Centre. DC Kengoo Zuringla also handed over 15 knapsack sprayers to the beneficiaries (farmers) provided by the District Agriculture Office.

The event was attended by government department officials including Amrita Sinha, IPS, SP Kangpokpi; Derick L. Khobung, ADC/ADM Kangpokpi also SDO/BDO Kangpokpi; James Doujapao Haokip, CEO/SHADC; all the SDOs; district level officers/representatives, among others.
