Bulandshahr (UP):A man was arrested by Sikandarabad police on Friday for justifying the brutal Shraddha murder in Delhi and making a video viral on social media, a senior police officer said here.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shlok Kumar said that, two days back, the police took cognizance of a video shot in Delhi. “In the video the man claiming himself to be Rashid could be seen making objectionable comments. Taking cognizance of the video, the Sikandarabad police was asked to trace the person,” he said.
He said that in the viral video the man while justifying Aftab Poonawala, who is accused in Shraddha Walkar murder case, can be heard as saying that if he would have been in place of Aftab he would have cut Shraddha in 36 pieces instead of 35.
“He was arrested today after which he was identified as Vikas Kumar, a resident of Malabad village under Sikandarabad police station. Vikas has been sent to jail,” Shlok said.
