Mizoram students score high in Atmanirbhar essay competition

The top 30 essays were then selected by NCERT and 9 out of 10 entries from Mizoram are now selected among the top 30.

Aizawl: SCERT, Mizoram has announced the names of nine students from the state who had secured positions among the top 30 at the national level essay competition on the theme: “Atmanirbhar Bharat -Swatantra Bharat’’.  The Online Essay competition was jointly organised by NCERT, MyGov.in and MoE for students of Class 9-12 during August 3-23 2020 on the theme “Atmanirbhar Bharat -Swatantra Bharat’’ (Self Reliant India- Independent India). 58 students from Mizoram submitted their entries to MyGov.in. Out of these 10 best entries were submitted to NCERT by the SCERT, Mizoram. The top 30 essays were then selected by NCERT and 9 out of 10 entries from Mizoram are now selected among the top 30.

The following students are the position holders: 

1. V.L. Rawnkimi, Class X, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Mizoram, 5th Position

2. Chitransh Raj Singh, Class IX, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Aizawl, 17th Position 

3. Carmelia Lalhmangaihi, Class IX, Synod Higher Secondary School, Aizawl, 21st Position

4. M. Ngurzela Sailo, Class X, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Aizawl, 22nd Position

5. Tristan Namaram, Class XI, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Aizawl, 23rd Position

6. Remalle Beaulah Grace, Class XI, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Aizawl, 24th Position

7. Lalremruati, Class X, Govt. K.M High School, Aizawl, 26th Position

8. Nayan Das, Class XI, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Aizawl, 27th Position
