Cavalcade of Bihar CM attacked, four vehicles damaged

The cavalcade was proceeding from Patna to Gaya, for use by Kumar who would visit the district on Monday for an official programme.

Patna: Agitated over the killing of a youth, locals attacked the official cavalcade of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar damaging four vehicles, even though Kumar himself was not onboard in any of the cars during the incident under Gaurichak police station area here on Sunday.

Official sources said here that the cavalcade of the Chief Minister Kumar was on the way to Gaya when locals agitated over the killing of a youth, attacked it with lathis and also pelted stones, damaging four vehicles. 

The cavalcade was proceeding from Patna to Gaya, for use by Kumar who would visit the district on Monday for an official programme.

The agitated locals were protesting on the road with the body of the youth, who had been missing for the past few days and his body was recovered on Sunday.
