Imphal: A team of Bishnupur police commandos including women constable arrested one woman from Ngangkhalawat Mamang Leikai near public ground and seized around 4.10 Kg of opium from her possession on March 20 at around 3.00 pm.
The woman has been identified as Phairembam (O) Tombisana Devi (42 years), wife of Ph Kumar Singh of Ngangkhalawai Awang Leikai.
The arrested person along with the seized item was handed over to Moirang police station and a case has been registered at the same police station for investigation, as per a press note from the PRO, Manipur Police, W Basu.
