Pherzawl: Adhering to all necessary Covid safety guidelines, the District Administration, Pherzawl Saturday launched District Hill Leaders’ Day and Meeyamgi Numit at Community Hall of Pherzawl District attended by the SP A. Ghaneshyam Sharma; Programme Co-Ordinator, Ch. Sachi; ADM/Pherzawl, I Dinesh Kumar Singh; SDO/BDO (Tipaimukh & Vangai); DLOs and Chief/Chairman of different villages.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner, Joseph Pauline Kamson said primary objective of the event is to bring about transparency and efficiency in the implementation of various welfare schemes of the government thereby ensuring better coordination of different department officials for speedy redressal and disposal of grievances to the public.
Appealing all to work harder and give maximum utmost co-operation by welcoming the government initiative for faster development of the district, he further stressed that the district still has many infrastructure developments and the government is willing to do much more than what they have conceived for development of the new district.
Thanking the Public for their cooperation and active participation in the event, the DC urged all to highlight their grievances and reap the benefits.
The Deputy Commissioner heard the grievances of the people and instructed the concerned line Departments to follow up for necessary redressal at the earliest. A total of 11 applications/grievances were received today by the Deputy Commissioner.
On an instant, the following public services render included viz Agriculture Department provided 10 Knapsack Sprayer including 3 pesticides & growth hormones; ZEO distributed 10 uniforms & 5 textbooks and presented a showcasing of bamboo works by Pherzawl Govt. High School; Horti. & Soil Conservation distributed Vegetable seeds & saplings to 3 beneficiaries and the District Social Welfare also gave out 10 MOAPS & CMWPS pension cards.
The SDO/BDO (Tipaimukh & Vangai Range) today issued 30 Tribe/Income/Domicile certificates and the Forest Department distributed 1000 saplings.
In the meanwhile, the Chief Medical Officer distributed 5 AB-PMJAY & 4 CMHT Cards where 320 Covid doses were administered to the public at the venue.
Fifteen stalls of different departments were opened to meet the demand of the public which included Police, Forest, Health, PMGSY(RED), MSRLM, ZEO, Handloom & Textiles, CSC(DIT), Vety & AH, PHED, Horti. & Soil Conservation, Agriculture, One Stop Centre, CAF&PD and Malaria.
