Churachandpur: Deputy Commissioner, Churachandpur, Pawan Yadav Thursday, distributed MGNREGS worksite facilities to 30 villages under three TD Blocks and study/learning materials, furniture and other items to students of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Awasiya Vidyalaya (Residential School), New Lamka.
Pawan Yadav distributed MGNREGS worksite facilities – water storage tank, megaphone and parachute – to 10 best performing villages each under Lamka TD Block, Lamka South TD Block and Lanva TD Block during a solemn function at MGNREGS Training Hall, Lamka Block, Churachandpur.
The worksite facilities distribution programme was attended by Project Director, DRDA, ST Gangte; Sr Finance Officer, Ng. Rajesh; Project Officer, DRDA, Joycy; BDO Lamka & Lamka South, Dharun Kumar; BDO, Lanva, Kaigoulal Kipgen; other officials and staff of DRDA.
Later, Yadav distributed mattresses, pillows, bed sheets, tract suits, laptops & printers, smart TVs, Science laboratory materials and other furniture to students of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Awasiya Vidyalaya (Residential School), New Lamka, Churachandpur. The distribution function at New Lamka was attended amongst others by ZEO, Churachandpur, N. Chingkhei, and other functionaries of Samagra Shiksha, Churachandpur.
