Imphal: Manipur reported just two new positive cases, nil Covid-related deaths and four recoveries, in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pam of Tuesday, as per an official release from the Health Department.
The two persons who tested positive from the general population are from Imphal East and Ukhrul respectively. A total of 298 were tested amounting to a positivity rate of .7 %.
Two of the four persons who recovered on Wednesday are from home isolation while the other two are from CCCs. 19 persons were reported as discharged only on Wednesday for various reasons, so the total number of recoveries after reconciliation as n April 20 is 23. The recovery rate in the state now stands at 98.43 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 37, 203 out of which 1, 35, 049 have recovered leaving 34 active cases.
The total number of doses administered on April 19, is 2,392, and the cumulative number of doses administered is 28,18,199 (1st dose 15,51, 240, 2nd dose 11,94,614) and precautionary dose 72,345.
