6 persons recover, 3 test positive, no deaths Sunday in Manipur

The number of active cases is 28 (general population 27 and CAPF 1). Recovery rate is 98.63%.

Imphal: In the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Sunday, 3 persons ( 2males and 1 female) from the general population tested positive, 6 persons recovered, and no Covid-19 related deaths were reported in Manipur, as per an official release from the Covid-19 Common Control Room.

The 3 positive persons are from Imphal West, Imphal East and Churchandpur  while all the 6 persons who recovered were on home isolation.

The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,291(General Population — 25,857 and Central Security Personnel — 3,434). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28,890 (General Population — 25,461 and CAPF— 3,429). The number of active cases is 28 (general population 27 and CAPF 1). Recovery rate is 98.63%.

As per the latest information, the number of people vaccinated on March 6, is 2940 and the cumulative vaccination number is 68405, the release added.

The total number of health care workers who have been vaccinated is 30368 which include the Directors of RIMS and JNIMS, CMOs, DFWOs DIOs of districts, chairman cum managing directors of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnostics’.

There are no severe reactions/allergies, adverse event following immunization till date. There were 47 mild reaction who were on home care and all of them have now fully recovered.
