Imphal: Manipur reported no Covid related death in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Thursday.
During the same period, nine persons from the general population tested positive while six persons recovered and were discharged, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the nine persons who tested positive Thursday, three each are from Thoubal and Imphal West and one each from Imphal East, Churachandpur and Tamenglong.
Altogether, 1,438 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of .6 %.
Meanwhile, six persons recovered and were discharged, three each from home isolation and JNIMS. The recovery rate of the state now stands at 98.39 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 37, 066 out of which 1, 34, 865 have recovered leaving 81 active cases.
The total number of doses administered on March 23, is 1,712, the cumulative number of doses administered is 27,72,260 (1st dose 15,30, 513, 2nd dose 11,76, 839) and precautionary dose 64,908.
