Russia establishes no-fly zone over Donbas

The Russia's aviation authorities have extended the ban on civilian flights in the south of Russia until March 26, TASS quoted a source in the Transport Ministry.

Moscow: Russia has established a no-fly zone over the Donbas region of Ukraine, a separatist official from the Donetsk People’s Republic said on Friday.

The Russia’s aviation authorities have extended the ban on civilian flights in the south of Russia until March 26, TASS quoted a source in the Transport Ministry.

“The Krasnodar airport confirmed the extension of the closure of airports in southern Russia until 3:45am Moscow time on March 26,” the media reported. The airspace in Russia’s south was closed on February 24.
