Kyiv: The fourth round of Ukraine-Russia peace talks are on “technical pause” till Tuesday, Ukrainian negotiator Mykhailo Podoliak said.
He said, “A technical pause has been taken in the negotiations until tomorrow. For additional work in the working subgroups and clarification of individual definitions. Negotiations continue…”
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called the fourth round of talks as “difficult”. The talks were being held virtually with the Ukrainian negotiating team in Kyiv.
According to CNN, the President was scheduled to speak to the Council of Europe earlier on Monday but did not.
The President will be giving a virtual address to US Congress on Wednesday, according to a letter sent to House and Senate members by Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.Â
