Imphal: Manipur reported no Covid-related death, 20 new positive cases and 39 recoveries in the last 24 hours leading up to 2 pm of Tuesday, as per an official release from the Health Department.
Of the 20 persons from the general population who tested positive, nine are from Imphal West, two each from Tengnoupal Thoubal Kangpokpi and Ukhrul and one each from Imphal East, Bishnupur and Kakching.
Altogether 669 persons were tested amounting to a positivity rate of 3.0 %
Meanwhile, 39 persons recovered and were discharged, 34 of them from home isolation, three from CCCs and one each from JNIMS and RIMS.
The recovery rate of the state stands at 98.23 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 36, 803 out of which 1, 34, 388 have recovered leaving 303 active cases.
The total number of doses administered on February 28, 2022, is 1962, the cumulative number of doses administered is 27,08,918 (1st dose 15,11, 618, 2nd dose 11,37, 915) and precautionary dose 59,835.
