Kohima: Nagaland recorded an increase in fresh Covid19 infection, with 121 cases registered over the past 24 hours, thereby taking the overall Coronavirus count in the state to 33,478, a state health bulletin said on Sunday.
With no report of Covid-related death in the state, the cumulative tally of fatalities remained 705.
According to the official bulletin, out of 121 fresh Covid cases, 91 were reported in Dimapur,18 in Kohima, eight in Peren and four in Wokha districts.
The new cases consist of 110 detected through self-testing and random sampling; five were travelers from outside of the state, four were the security forces personnel and two were frontline workers.
On the recovery front, altogether 69 patients got cured in the state, of them 57 patients were from Dimapur, 10 from Kohima, two from Peren, taking the total increased number of recoveries to 30,808.Â
