No Covid related deaths reported in Manipur

Imphal: Four persons from the general population tested positive in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Sunday while there was no reports of any deaths during this period in Manipur, as per an official release from the Covie-19 common Control Room.

The 4 persons (1 males, 2 females) who tested positive from the general population include 2 from Imphal West  and 2 from Churachandpur. Meanwhile, 8 persons recovered and were discharged.  These include 4 from Home Isolation, 2 from JNIMS and 1 each from RIMS and RD Wing.

The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,237 (General Population — 25,805 and Central Security Personnel — 3,432). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28,784 (General Population — 25, 367 and CAPF— 3,417 ). The number of active cases is 80 (general population 69 and CAPF 11). The recovery rate is 98.45%.
