Farmers’ Killing : PCC volunteers hold ‘silent’ dharna

Puducherry: Volunteers of Puducherry Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) on Monday organized a ‘Silent’ dharna to protest against the killing of farmers in Uttar Pradesh and the failure of the Central and UP governments to initiate action against the culprits.

Led by PCC president A V Subramanian, PCC volunteers assembled near the Swadeshi Cotton mills and resorted to a ‘silent’ dharna.

Former Chief Minister V Narayanasamy, former Ministers Kandasamy and Shajahan, Congress ex-legislators and party functionaries participated in the dharna.
