Gangtok: Governor of Sikkim Ganga Prasad and Chief Minister PS Tamang paid floral tributes at the bust of Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary here on Saturday.

They were accompanied by Cabinet Ministers, MLAs, Advisors and Chairpersons. Chief Secretary SC Gupta, also offered tributes. Sikkim Police Male & Female bands played the national anthem and patriotic song tunes. Sonam Lepcha, a female artist sang Gandhi’s favourite bhajan ‘Vaishnav Jan to’.
