New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday took a dig at the BJP government in the Centre over September 17 mega vaccination drive to commemorate the 71st birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying ”event over”.
“Event over ! #Vaccination,” Gandhi wrote in a tweet in Hindi in an apparent reference to the September 17 Covid-19 vaccination drive.
Along with the tweet, the Congress leader tagged the vaccination trends in the last 10 days quoting CoWin where in the graph it can be seen a sharp decline recorded in Saturday’s vaccination, a day after more than 2.5 crore doses administered across the country.
As per the Union Health Ministry, more than 85 lakhs doses were administered during the past 24 hours.
The Gandhi scion’s comment comes a day after the PM without naming any party had said that a political party developed “fever” after over 2.5 crore doses were administered on his birthday.
