Imphal: The improving trend as far as the Covid-19 situation in Manipur continues in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Wednesday. During this period, there was no report of any death and only 11 persons (5 males, 6 females)) from the general population tested positive, as per an official release from the Covid-19 Common Control Room.
The 11 persons who tested positive from the general population include 4 from Chandel and 1 each Imphal East, Imphal West, Thoubal, Kakching, Tengnoupal, Tamenglong and Churachandpur.
Meanwhile, 7 persons recovered and were discharged, 5 of them from Home Isolation and 1 each from Churachandpur and RD Wing.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,148(General Population — 25,715 and Central Security Personnel — 3,430). The cumulative number of recovered cases (after recompilation with data from IDSP, Home Isolation, Covid-19 Care Centre team, Death Committee as on February 10, 2021) is 28,726 (General Population — 25, 311 and Central Security Personnel — 3,415). The number of active cases (after recompilation with data from IDSP, Home Isolation, Covid-19 Care Centre team, Death Committee as on February 10, 2021) is 49 (general population 38 and CAPF 11). The recovery rate is 98.55%.

The total number of those vaccinated Tuesday is 2576 and the cumulative vaccination number is 13654.
The total number of health care workers who have been vaccinated is 12453. This include the Directors of RIMS and JNIMS, CMOs 78 persons were given Covid-19 vaccine on Sunday and that the cumulative no of people vac, DFWOs DIOs of districts, chairman cum managing directors of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnostics’.
There is no severe reaction/allergies, adverse event following immunization (AEFI) till date. There were 37 mild reaction who are on home care and all of them are now fully recovered, the release added.
