Arunachal reports 515 new Covid-19 cases; one death

According to the bulletin, a 48-year-old man from Changlang passed away on Saturday at HM Poly Clinic and Diagnostics Centre, Dibrugarh.

Itanagar: As many as 515 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s caseload to 45,703 while the death toll rose to 213 as one more succumbed to the virus.
Out of the new positive cases, Itanagar Capital Complex reported the highest at 139, followed by Lohit 85 and East Siang 39, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services.
Of these, 297 patients are asymptomatic and 218 symptomatic.
According to the bulletin, a 48-year-old man from Changlang passed away on Saturday at HM Poly Clinic and Diagnostics Centre, Dibrugarh. He has tested positive through rapid antigen test. The body was handed over to the family members as per Covid-19 SOP.
On a positive note, 406 patients have recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries to 41,025.
Active cases tally stands at 4,465.
